How to Bookmark a Web Page in Google Chrome

You can bookmark a web page in Google Chrome in a number ways and we will demonstrate each of them in this tutorial.

Ctrl + D

You can bookmark a web page quickly by pressing Ctrl + D keys simultaneously. The page will be bookmarked and Bookmark added! popup menu will be displayed.

Bookmark Button

The star at the right corner of the address bar is the bookmark button. You can click it to bookmark a page. When you click it, the page will be bookmarked and Bookmark added! popup menu will be displayed.

When a page is bookmarked, this star button will become yellow.

Customization Menu

Alternatively, you can bookmark a web page using the Bookmarks option in the customization menu.

Click the Customize and control Google Chrome button on the upper right corner just below the close button.

Hover the cursor over Bookmarks option and bookmarks submenu will appear. On that menu, you can click Bookmark this page... option to bookmark the page.

The page will be bookmarked and Bookmark added! popup menu will be displayed.

Note that, you can also bookmark local (offline) pages and files that can be opened in Google Chrome for easier access using the methods explained above.
